What do we think about it
Western Digital My Passport SSD seems to be a great external SSD that will compete well with Samsung T3. For their first external solid state drive, Western Digital has chosen to keep their design theme – simple and robust, which is a good thing. Small dimensions and super fast data transfer speeds guarantee this SSD success.
Basically, this external SSD has everything a consumer would want. A stylish yet robust design, USB Type-C connector, data transfer speeds that exceed 500MB/s and slim build. Also, it’s price seems to be very good when compared to Samsung T3. Will it take the Samsung’s place or be in thing competition with it? Time will show.
