LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Nintendo has revealed a special game bundle, which includes the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Veteran Trainer’s package during the GameStop Expo 2017 at The Venetian last night.
The Japanese multinational video game company announced the special edition package that includes the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games, 16 unique character cards, a hybrid console game duplicate, three CDs with the game soundtracks, posters, and a downloadable card containing 200 Pokéballs. This amazing package is available for $79.99 and will be released in the market in October 20, 2017.
Nintendo has also announced that the Fire Emblem pack will be released on the same date. The game is a version that will be available for Switch users only because the developers have not hyped anything about a 3DS version. Apparently, the company’s priority is upgrading video games for Switch.
The hybrid console was unveiled just last year and is the seventh major gaming product by the company. It was released globally in the first quarter of 2017. This was somehow the video game developer’s saving grace from its sales issues in 2014.
Since its release, the Switch system has been the developer’s top priority in just about everything. Old school games are also being upgraded for them to adapt to the latest game console. Unlike previous portable consoles, Switch has a battery that can extend its life up to 6 hours. It also has a 32GB memory and a port to extend the memory using microSD cards. What people enjoy most about are its unique controllers that can be used solely or with company.
Nintendo might have issues with preorder cancellations of the recently announced Sun and Moon games due to this upgrade, but the company might also use this as a good promotional strategy for the new one.
