NEW DELHI, INDIA – Lenovo just recently launched its newest smartphone device, the Lenovo K8 Note, in India for Rs 12,999. The Chinese smartphone company will also start selling the Lenovo K8 Note starting Friday, September 15, 2017.

The open sale lets eager buyers get an additional Rs 1,000 discount from the Lenovo K8 Note’s original price. The promo is also in partnership with HSBC credit and debit card. HSBC account holders can receive Rs 1,000 cash backs as part of the promotion.

The Lenovo K8 Note runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone has a metal-clad handset with 5.5-inch full High Density (HD) with 1080 x 1920 pixels in resolution. The K8 Note is made of Corning Gorilla Glass coating. The smartphone is equipped with a deca-core MediaTek HelioX20 or MT6797 processor.

The Lenovo K8 Note is the first-ever device to sport a dual rear camera setup made by the Chinese smartphone company. It carries a 13-megapixel camera with a 5-megapixel secondary camera that is capable of detecting an image in-depth and can create a “bokeh” effect on portrait photos.

The smartphone’s camera also includes different photo modes such as Panorama, Professional Photo, and HDR. The sleek Lenovo K8 Note has a front-facing camera with 13-megapixel capability and LED flash. The front-camera also provides a Professional mode for better selfies that you can share on social media.

The smartphone is equipped with an expandable 32 GB or 64 GB built-in storage. The phone can also support up to a 128 GB microSD card. The Lenovo K8 Note is capable of dual-sim support for flexible communication with various network providers.

What makes the Lenovo K8 Note unique from other Lenovo mobile units is the new “Music Key.” This can control the user’s music playback easier on the side just by a long press. The smartphone is powered by a 4000mAh battery and supports a fast-charging technology called Turbo Charge.
