Getting a PS4 gaming chair… Oh boy, how exciting it can be. Not only having a proper seat but also tons of great new features like speakers with surround sound and vibration motors. These things let you experience gaming like never before. You can also plug your headset directly into your gaming chair and charge your controller from it. However, to do and experience all of this, first, you have to successfully connect your gaming chair to PS4 console. This isn’t an overly complicated task to do. However, it requires some small knowledge. In this article, we will explain how to connect gaming chair to PS4 console.
The first and probably the easiest solution is checking gaming chair’s manufacturer’s website or reading the manual. For example, you can find all the information about X Rocker gaming chair on their website.
Two types of gaming chairs
First of there are two types of gaming chairs – wired ones and Bluetooth. Note that both of these chairs will have to be plugged into AC power outlet in order to work. A Bluetooth enabled chair won’t work in Bluetooth audio mode.
So how do I connect gaming chair to the PS4 console?
First of, you must understand that nearly all gaming chairs work through your television or monitor audio. So you will have to connect your chair to TV or monitor by RCA connections. If your TV doesn’t have RCA connections, you can also use HDMI. However, you will have to buy an additional HDMI converter. Basically, you have to connect your gaming chair to TV or monitor via HDMI cable through converter like AGPtek HDMI to HDMI + SPDIF + RCA
Simply plug RCA cables that come from your chair into the adapter and then HDMI cable from the adapter to your TV. Next thing what’s left to do is connect your PS4 console to your TV, but that’s super easy to do, and I believe most of you have already done that.
Hopefully, this helped and now you’re able to fully enjoy everything your brand new gaming chair offers.
